In 1977, Linda began studying graphology with Dorothy Hodos, one of the founders of the American Handwriting Analysis Foundation (AHAF). It was from Dorothy than she learned the fundamentals of handwriting theory, and took the Psychogram and Criteria course work.
She then went on to study with Dr. Erika Karohs, learning a variety of methods of analysis. Linda also received degrees in Psychology and Marriage and Family during this time, sponsored by Dr. Karohs.
Linda was certified by the American Handwriting Analysis Foundation, in 1984, and became a life time member of the organization. in 1986 she passed her Professional Certification with the American Association of Hand-writing Analysts (AAHA). She received a Life Time Teaching Credential; a Continuing Education Certification from the Association of Licensed Investigators; certification in Scientific Content Analysis Interrogation and was also Court Qualified in California in Document Examination.
Over the nearly 35 years Linda has been a graphologist, she has worked closely with police and sherrif departments on investigations; private investigators, screened potential employees for privately owned companies; screened candidates for jury selection, and given lectures all over the US.
Linda has written two monographs: "Suicide and Self-Destructive Behavior in Children and Teens", and "A Graphological View of eating Disorders - A Working Paper".
She has been featured in many articles for media publications; appeared on television and radio; worked at Trade Shows and spoken before Navy personnel and Development. She also teaches classes in Graphology.
Linda's philosophy about graphology is: "Read everything you can, take every course you can, and share what you learn with other handwriting analysts."
Linda has been the National Ethics Chair of AHAF, The National Vice President of AHAF, the Chapter president of the Northern Ca Chapter of AHAF.
